Painted entirely by hand in Deruta, this deep plate belongs to the Ricco Deruta style in a refined variant: the characteristic scrolls of acanthus leaves and flowering buds are painted on a pure white enamel base, rather than the traditional dark green background. 
The decoration develops in the classic colors of the Umbrian palette - cobalt blue, green, orange and yellow - with a meticulous finish of curls and dots.

Due to its size and the complexity of the decoration, it was created as an ornamental collectible element. Designed to be hung on the wall, it can also be used as a centerpiece on sideboards or dining tables.
